Davitz, Daniel

Dan Davitz is founder and independent consultant for PRISM Strategy & Design, LLC. He is an industrial finishing line consultant with over 30 years’ experience internationally, specializing in rack design to achieve maximum parts density and greater profitability.

He is the former owner for 17 years of a company which designed and manufactured finishing racks, with an additional 13+ years of engineering, fabrication and product development.

Having designed thousands of unique hook designs for hard-to-hold parts, and countless custom designed racks, he brings expertise that few others have in the industry. He has designed specialized parts hooks and racking solutions for many prominent manufacturers including, Caterpillar, Crown Equipment, AGCO, Hill-Rom, Winnebago, and many more.

He has written numerous articles for various finishing publications related to racking solutions, and he has led the development of four (4) patents in rack design.
