Hess, Frederick
Frederick Hess is the CEO and Chief Engineer at UFS Corporation. UFS manufactures electrocoating equipment used in automotive, appliance, and agricultural/construction industries. In addition to serving US and Canada, UFS has a network of partners in Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, India, South Korea, and The Netherlands/UK, and he travels regularly to these locations to visit customers and prospects.
Prior to UFS, he worked fro Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Caterpillar and Cummins Engine. He is a graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Management. He is a 2018 recipient of the Electrocoat Association’s George E. Brewer Award. He is a member of Rotary and served as an officer from 2001 to 2009. He and his wife, Julia, live in Valparaiso, IN and have two grown children and one grandchild.
