Title: Anode Cell 101: Selection, Sizing and Best Practices for Standard and Exotic Anode Cells

Description:

This presentation will offer a comprehensive overview of anode cell use in the ECoat industry, from selection and sizing to best practices and preventative maintenance.

Abstract:

With over 25 years of experience on the ECoat industry, Synder has become a leading supplier of ECoat products, including C-cell and tubular anode cells. Anode cells are an essential part of the ECoat process, serving as an opposing electrode for the part being painted and removing excess acid from the paint bath. Sizing and selection of the appropriate pipe material are critical when it comes to new installations and replacements, as some applications require the use of custom coated titanium pipes. This presentation will focus on the sizing and material selection process for the anode cells, followed by its use within the ECoat process, and best practices to extend the life of the anode cell.
